    Lighting Designer

    Jesse (Lighting Designer) began his career in the arts in Santa Fe, NM. He earned his BFA in Dance magna cum laude on scholarship from The University of Arizona and received his MS in Project Management from the University of New Mexico.

     

    Jesse's performing highlights include featured roles with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet and The Santa Fe Opera, being a member of The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, being part of Alessandra Ferri's "The Piano Upstairs", and appearing as a guest artist nationally and in New Zealand.

     

    Recent lighting design highlights include designs for Alexi Kenney and Xuan's "Shifting Ground", L. Zane Jones's production of Katori Hall's "The Mountaintop", and Harrison Ball's "Purcell Suite". Recently, he was the Associate Lighting Designer for James F. Ingalls with "Twyla At Joyce". Jesse currently serves as Director of Production for the Vail Dance Festival, as the Technical Director & Operations Supervisor for Baryshnikov Arts in Manhattan, and is a resident lighting designer for New Jersey Ballet. He is excited to join Emily, Tanya, and the AVID artists on this venture.
